The Sleeka Reversible jacket from Snugpak is a great synthetic insulation jacket and a practical alternative to down made with a soft yet tough breathable outer shell that is very low on weight and bulk, wickable, fast drying and highly breathable. Insulation is Softie or "superfine high-thermal" which is a combination of fibres with different crimp-systems and surface finishes (some curled, some crimped and some just left at they are), with special binders and treatments for an excellent combination of softness and durability.
