With the same shape and dimensions as the Laser Competition, user comfort is not compromised and the Laser Photon will still sleep two on events such as mountain marathons and adventure races.
New fabrics and pegs create the bulk of the weight saving, after painstaking research by Terra Nova. In another first for Terra Nova, the Laser Photon features a silicon-coated groundsheet which allows lighter weight fabrics to be used and still maintain water repellent performance.
Pitching flysheet first, the inner can be left connected, making it exceptionally quick to erect. The transverse porch creates more usable space than a longitudinal porch and provides excellent shelter from the wind as well as a large entrance.
