The Lamina 35 welded sleeping bag is truly awesome. The welding stabilises the fill without the need to sew the bag and pinch the insulation, thereby maximising warmth and loft. Mountain Hardwear combine the welding technology with a new insulation – Thermic Micro, which was especially developed for loft retention and compressibility.
Made in a single sheet, Thermic Micro eliminates variations in thickness and the possibilities of cold spots, the result of which is a welded synthetic bag with outstanding reliability, compressibility and loft retention.
The mummy shape of the bag helps retain warmth without constriction, and a DWR* coating to repel moisture. Due to the new technology, the Lamina is generally lighter and will pack smaller than its competitors.
