The Satmap Active 10 is a user-friendly GPS unit purpose built for the great outdoors, offering a long
battery life in a waterproof and shockproof casing. It has some of the most
advanced navigation technology available, including an electronic compass, direction indicator, on board route planning and map orientation.
Supplied with a full GB road map preloaded onto the unit, plus an Ordnance Survey 1:1,000,000 map of the whole of Great
Britain, which is great for panning rapidly across the country when planning
routes.
Included in the pack is the Active 10 GPS unit, quick start user guide, standard carry case, lanyard, USB cable, 3 x Energizer lithium AA batteries, and all documentation.
To extend functionality, additional digital maps are available on SD cards that can simply be plugged straight into the Active 10 for instant use. No other computer or equipment is needed. This stand-alone system will work straight out of the box - nothing could be easier!
